COVID-19 Updates
At the Petawawa Pantry, our priority is the well being of our clients, volunteers and supporters. We are committed to being proactive and responsible in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. This has meant changes during the pandemic to our usual market-style format, where clients choose items for their family from the shelves.
Please do not come to the Petawawa Pantry if you are feeling ill - instead, call
613-687-1676 during open hours, and we will arrange an alternate way to get food to you .
UPDATE: Feb. 2023
The Petawawa Pantry remains open during our regular hours: Tues 1-4 pm and Thurs 6-8 pm.
Families may come only once every month for the full food allotment.
However, Emergency Food (4-5 items) is available during open hours for crisis situations.
Food is pre-packaged, based on family size and you can take all items, or just desired items, from the food tray. Also, there are several choices for your family's specific needs (for example: meat, perishable foods, personal hygiene items and pet food). If there is a specific item you need, please ask - it could be in stock!
Remember to bring your family's identification for each visit.
